Bleeding Gums

I have read that bleeding gums can be associated with B12 deficiency.

I have had bleeding gums for several years. Plesae can someone explain how B12 deficiency can cause gums to bleed or give me a link to an article on teh subject.

Are your gums also pale? see here:

Perhaps have a look at copies of your blood tests to see if there is anything relevant mentioned on the two NIH medical web links.
