Terms and Conditions

As of next week all members will have to agree to abide by the terms and conditions published on the website at http://www.pernicious-anaemia-society.org/legal.html - so it might be worth popping over for a read before then.

Please don't worry, it's all standard stuff, once you've agreed to them nothing will change, we'll still be here to chat to and we won't be willy-nilly deleting posts in the same way as we don't now.

The terms and conditions are there to protect the society and the forum from malicious users. Normal use as everyone on the forum is currently doing won't be affected.

During the course of next week when you login, everyone (including me, the other moderators and the trustees) will be asked to agree to the terms and conditions.

Also just note a minor change to the guidelines for posting has been made.

We have added : "You may not violate, plagiarise, or infringe on the rights of third parties including copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, personal, publicity, or proprietary rights. If such an event occurs, the individual posting the information shall be held solely responsible. Pernicious Anaemia Society shall not be held responsible for member-posted information that may violate copyright law" to the section on copyright.

Basically - Don't quote from other people without citing or linking back to them - so don't pass off other peoples work as your own.
